Google accounted for 5.5bn of all searches performed in the US in August 2007 and remained the top search property. That represents a 56.5% share of the US search market. Yahoo remained in second place with 23.3%, followed by Microsoft Sites with 11.3%, while both Time Warner Networks and Ask had a 4.5% share of the US search market.
