Part of the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the UK government, ISPs and the music industry involved making more legal download services available. 7digital is hoping to capitalise on that, having announced this morning a new range of tailored music services for ISPs to offer for their customers. There are three on offer: first, white-label download stores that let people buy music from their ISP and have the costs added to their monthly bill. Second are subscription and bundled services, involving streaming music as part of a monthly broadband subscription. And third is a hassle-free version of the first option, with 7digital running the store for ISPs, rather than them having to manage it themselves.
