Former Sugababe Mutya Buena is already benefitting from taking part in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother – sales of her album have leapt by 106% on Play.com since last night's episode, when she sang to her fellow housemates.The cynic in us wonders how many copies of the album Play.com was selling before yesterday – a 106% rise from 'not very many' isn't quite as impressive, and it's fair to say the album hadn't exactly set the charts alight in recent months.Play.com has revealed what kind of a boost the other musical housemates are getting, too. La Toya Jackson's album Sexual Feeling got an 89% rise, Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise rose by 43%, and sales of X by Michelle Heaton's former band Liberty X jumped by, er, 24%. The last album by A1 – whose singer Ben Adams is in the house – isn't even available on the UK retailer's site any more.Mercifully, Mini-Me actor Verne Troyer has yet to release an album, as far as we're aware. Not yet, anyway.
