Activision announced quarterly revenues of $1.6 billion for the fourth quarter of 2008. However, the company posted a net loss of $72 million for the quarter, compared to an $86 million profit in Q4 2007. These are the official GAAP figures. Activision’s non-GAAP figures are $2.3 billion of revenues and a $429 million profit – these strip out deferred revenue and other charges.
