We wrote about Mobile Roadie earlier in the week in our bulletin – the company is providing an iPhone app service to independent bands who want to get branded applications onto Apple’s handset. And we mentioned that it had negotiated a discount deal for The Orchard’s stable of labels. Well, the first band to benefit are the Black Lips, whose app has gone live. It features streaming songs, news updates, tourdates and a fan wall for people to chat back to the band. It’s a free application and available now. Fancy checking it out? Click here to open its page on the App Store.
