The Pirate Bay continues to thumb its nose at the music authorities, with the appearance of a new `Share on Facebook’ link on torrent links on its site. When clicked, it lets people share those links with their Facebook friends quickly and easily – for whom one click will start downloading the file, if they have a torrent client installed. The IFPI has already slammed the idea, and pointed out that it’s illegal to share links to download illegal files in this way. Where that leaves Facebook, though, is an interesting question: will it feel obliged to try and block such links, or simply remove them when notified?
