Several sites have been breaking out more details from NPD Group's latest survey of music consumption, which we reported on last week. The new stats: 13-17 year-olds in the US spent 13% less on music downloads last year, and 26% less on CDs.Although this co-incided with a 24% drop in overall entertainment spending by teens, so you could argue that downloads are suffering less. So how are teens getting their music instead?Downloads from P2P networks fell 6% last year according to NPD, but 52% of teens say they listened to online radio – up from 34% in 2007 – while 46% used social networking sites to download or stream music – up from 26% in 2007.
