Swedish firm Mubito, which runs D2C sites for artists and labels, has gone into administration. Although all staff have been made redundant under Swedish law, they”re continuing to work while administrator Hans Svedburg tries to find a buyer for the company. “The main problem with the company, as with so many information technology companies, they have had too much personnel,” he tells Music Week. “There were around 45 people in Sweden. Maybe it could work better with 30.” CEO and founder Andrew Martyn has already left the company.
