Two of the hottest forms of music marketing in 2009 are pre-release album streams and iPhone applications, and UK artist Heads We Dance has announced plans to do both. The band’s new album Love Technology has been released as a streaming iPhone app two weeks before its official release, with news, photos and community features thrown in too. The app has been produced using technology from Mobile Roadie, which helps indie artists onto iPhone’s App Store.
