Revenues from streaming mobile music and full-track downloads will increase from $2.5 billion in 2009 to $5.5 billion in 2013, thanks to more mobile music applications, all-inclusive data tariffs, better user interfaces and increased handset storage capacity. However, the same report warns that ad-funded mobile music services could face a tough time as advertising budgets get cut back. Meanwhile, the report predicts that ringback tone revenues will overtake ringtone revenues by 2010.
