A new Creative & Cultural Skills survey titled Economic Impact of the Creative Industries, which maps the size and shape of the creative industries and music sector has provided new figures showing that just 5% of the business’s 100,000-plus employees earn £41,000 and above. This compares to nearly 40% of the business that takes home less than ten grand a year, while around a quarter earn less than £19,999.
