Celebrate the 60th anniversary of 45rpm vinyl singles by… buying iTunes downloads? Okay, it sounds contradictory, but Apple has launched a new Digital 45 section on its iTunes Store, selling two-song bundles (i.e. an A-side and B-side) with artwork.Rhino and EMI have been talking about their support, with Rhino set to release 25 D45s a month, many of which haven’t been digitally available before.
