Music videos portal Vevo hasn’t launched yet, but it already has its first big-name advertiser signed up: US telco AT&T. Intriguingly, the press release says AT&T “will support Vevo’s comprehensive services across multiple connected platforms”. We’re wondering if that means mobile as well as web – could Vevo launch on mobile through AT&T Wireless in addition to its online portal? It’s further momentum for the site, which has yet to sign up WMG and EMI, but did recently secure funding from an Abu Dhabi investment group at a $300 million valuation.
