WMG posted revenues of $861 million for its fiscal fourth quarter, including a rise of 3.7% for recorded music sales. However, the label made a loss of $18 million. Digital sales rose 11.5% year-on-year, and now account for 21.4% of WMG’s revenues. WMG’s publishing division saw synchronisation revenues drop by 32.3%.
