Spotify's desktop app is already available for Windows and Mac, but now the company has taken it to a third platform: Linux. “A lot of our developers are using Linux, obviously they want to listen to music while they're coding away and looking at the feedback we get it appears that they're not the only ones,” notes Spotify on its blog.The Linux version is currently a preview release that's lacking the support for local music files offered on PC and Mac, and it can't show ads, so is only available to Spotify Premium subscribers.
