Next up at this morning's Wesminster eForum is a panel debate on copyright and digital consumers, with AIM boss Alison Wenham first to speak.She starts by saying there isn't widespread rejection of copyright among consumers, “but there is widespread confusion around copyright”.”The intermediaries – ISPs and others – have been resolute in not coming to the collective party in determining what is and is not legal content on the internet,” she says.She also describe a recent album released by an AIM member label, which on the first day, saw its legal link to the Amazon and iTunes Stores relegated to the seventh page of search results on Google, behind links to illegal versions.“It baffles me why Google found it more important to put up seven pages of illegal links before the first two legal links were made available to the consumer,” she says.So what should be done?
