How big is Spotify? 10 million users big. Well, it's about to break that milestone anyway.The company is holding a party in London later this month “to celebrate reaching 10 million users across Europe”, according to an invite sent out to press and partners.It's impressive growth, with Spotify still only available in seven countries: the UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, the Netherlands and Spain.How many of those 10 million users are paying subscribers? The most recent figure given by the company was in July, when CEO Daniel Ek said that Spotify had passed the 500,000 paying uses milestone.Note: we're NOT suggesting that this means a straight 5% conversion rate – it all depends on how many paying users Spotify added in the rest of July, August and September so far. If it has 550,000 or even 600,000 premium users now, that would be a 5.5% or 6% conversion rate.
