Eminem's publisher Eight Mile Style has put a number on the compensation it's seeking from Apple, following a case earlier this year over iTunes royalties. Music Week reports Eight Mile Style is seeking $2.2 million – a figure that includes attorney fees – from Apple, and has requested that a US District Court judge in Detroit enforce the settlement. The case was one of the highest profile lawsuits over digital royalties, with Eight Mile Style claiming that Eminem's label, Aftermath Records, did not have the full rights to strike a deal to sell his tracks on the iTunes Store.
