There are lots of big numbers floating around US music service Pandora at the moment, thanks to its recent IPO filing. One of the biggest was its 80 million registered users, but how many of them are active? Evolver.fm asked, and got back an answer: more than 30 million active users in January. That’s the amount of people who listened to Pandora on at least one device/platform that month. That’s nearly one in ten Americans, although it also implies that 50 million people who registered have since stopped listening to Pandora. As the IPO documents revealed, Pandora notched up 2.6 billion listener hours in the first nine months of 2010, up from 1.4 million in the first nine months of 2009.Read more: http://tinyurl.com/64e2rpm
