Alicia Keys is the latest artist to leap onto the Tumblr bandwagon, setting up a blog to complement her Twitter and Facebook presences. She’s certainly talking up its potential, calling Tumblr her “new obsession” and promising regular updates.
“It allows me to give a fuller picture of my life, whether it’s a song, working with a cast of a Broadway play or encouraging people to join the movement to end AIDS.”
Keys also describes her Tumblr blog as providing “an artistic representation of me, my art and my world”, although we had to smile when seeing a commenter on Mashable’s story compare it more to an artistic representation of “early myspace-ish”.
