More than 1.5bn Spotify tracks have been shared on Facebook so far.
Predictions are that Spotify will account for 50% of all recorded music revenues in Sweden for 2011.
An anonymous music industry executive also tells Forbes that Spotify already has more than 400,000 premium subscribers in the US.
Forbes says that 85% of Spotify’s 2.5m subscribers are paying $10 a month, with the rest paying $5 for web-only access – meaning annual revenues of $300m
