Did three separate Interscope artists all have their Twitter accounts hacked with tweets endorsing Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul? It sounds far-fetched, but that’s what apparently happened yesterday. Nicole Scherzinger, No Doubt and Rise Against all seemingly posted tweets espousing their support for Paul, before deleting them amid claims their accounts had been hacked. “We endorse Ron Paul this 2012 too. We love you Ron!” said Rise Against’s tweet, along with a link to donate. The famously left-leaning band later tweeted their response: “As you would all assume, We DO NOT support Ron Paul”, while No Doubt restricted themselves to a more neutral “No political endorsements at this time.”
