T-Pain is the latest artist to work with video app Viddy, launching a premium Viddy Production Pack based on his ’5 o’Clock’ single with Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen. The pack lets Viddy users shoot their own 15-second videos to share on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, using the star’s – and we’ll quote from the press release here if we may – “signature Steam Punk TV effect”. He’s the first artist to be selling a Production Pack within the Viddy app, but the startup hopes more will follow. “T-Pain is known for his innovative audio effects and is a perfect partner to launch Viddy’s Special FX marketplace for artist and celebrity inspired mobile video production,” says co-founder Brett O’Brien.
