IDC’s global figures show Apple as the leader in Q4, shipping 37m iPhones for a 23.5% market share. Samsung is second (36m / 22.8%), Nokia third (19.6m / 12.4%) and RIM in fourth with 13m and an 8.2% market share. Apple and Samsung are accelerating ahead, up 128.4% and 275% year-on-year respectively, with Nokia down 30.6% and BlackBerry down 11%.
