Another reason for artists to get their hands dirty with Google+? It’s now more integrated with YouTube. “Want to share your Google+ profile or Google+ Page on your YouTube channel? We’ve added a feature to let you promote your presence on G+,” explains an official blog post, which notes that YouTube is “looking for other ways to bring the benefits of Google+ to your YouTube channel”. Other new features for people running their own YouTube channels are the ability to post videos and playlists to their own feeds, and more annotations options including a full colour palette, a new timeline and templated ‘styles’ to make in-video annotations look more interesting.
