IDC thinks that between 2011 and 2016, the percentage of these devices that are PCs running the Windows OS will fall from 35.9% to 25.1%. That means they’ll be overtaken (if IDC’s prediction is right, obviously) by devices running Android, which it expects to grow from a 29.4% share to 31.1% share by 2016.
