Last night, we reported on DJ Shadow’s launch of a BitTorrent bundle, including a software offer from one of BitTorrent’s advertising partners. This morning we’ve got more details on that. In the UK, at least, the partner is RealNetworks, as the official download page notes: “Free, optional RealPlayer software (PC Only)”. The bundle also includes three tracks from Shadow’s new Hidden Transmissions album, archive footage and an “artist-curated photo vault and time capsule”. Meanwhile, Hypebot has more information on the wider digital campaign around the album, including a partnership with another controversial service. It turns out a track from the album will be in rotation on Grooveshark’s homepage.
