AWAL_LogoAWAL is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to be based in the Kobalt office in London, and to work with the AWAL team to oversee digital marketing campaigns for AWAL releases.

Part of the Kobalt Music Group, AWAL provides digital distribution and marketing services for artists and labels worldwide. Artists have included Moby, Thom Yorke, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Lauren Aquilina, Gabrielle Aplin, The Zombies, Andrew Bird, Wavves, David Ford, and many more.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for proposing, managing and co-ordinating digital marketing campaigns, working closely with both our  Operations team and the AWAL client managers.

Experience/ Skills Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing in the UK music market, ideally within a successful record label or digital distributor environment
  • Experienced in planning, overview and co-ordination of digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong organisational, campaign management and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of the music industry
  • Experience with online advertising (AdWords, Facebook Advertising, etc)
  • Advanced understanding and experience of social media best practices, as they relate to music and artists
  • Understanding of CRM marketing
  • Knowledge of website structure and best practices
  • Experience with D2C platforms
  • Experience of data analytics platforms

 Responsibilities will include:

  • liaising with clients to plan digital marketing campaigns
  • writing outcome based digital marketing proposals
  • assessing artists’ current web presence to create “digital health checks”
  • regular ongoing liaison with client management regarding implementation of marketing plans and assessment of performance and review of targets
  • planning digital adverting and social media spends and targets
  • monitoring online spends
  • overseeing online PR campaigns, via liaison with external agencies
  • researching and developing new methods of building fans and marketing digital music
  • generating campaign reports
