October 9, 2013:Vevo publishes its latest stats for the UK

Music videos service Vevo has published its latest Music Video Viewership Report, covering the UK’s first six months of 2013. It reveals that 932m videos were watched by Brits on the service in that time period – just 2.1% of its global total – with 43% of UK views in June going to mobile phones, tablets and connected TVs. Vevo also says it worked with more than 250 brands in the UK in the first half of this year, including American Express, Toyota, Sony Mobile, Unilever, Lucozade and Disney. The news came as Vevo named Lorde as its first global Lift artist, with an eight-week promotional campaign planned around her videos.
