Shazam has announced another music service integration for its mobile app, this time on Android. “You can now purchase tracks straight from Google Play and listen to full tracks with Google Play Music All Access,” explains the text for the latest update to its Android app. In the past, the app has integrated with Amazon’s MP3 store on Android, as well as streaming services Rdio, Spotify, Deezer and Beats Music (in various combinations). Android Police notes that Google Play Music has been given the most prominent spot in the drop-down menu when Shazam users tap the play button. Shazam was criticised earlier this year for squeezing Spotify out of its streaming options after signing a deal with Deezer, but as time goes on, the app appears to be taking a more neutral approach: offering links to all the major streaming services.
