Senior Account Manager – full or part time

Are you fed up with working at a large company? Would you like to make an impact at a small, thriving agency working on diverse projects with some of the industry’s most exciting businesses?

Name PR – one of the world’s leading music industry PR agencies, with clients including Merlin, Kobalt Music Group and Cooking Vinyl – is looking for a Senior Account Manager to play a crucial part in leading our successful trade and business division. Our clients are working on some of the most important developments in the global music and technology space. This is ideal for someone who knows the music and tech sectors intimately and relishes the chance to shape our company strategy.

In this role, you will plan and execute global PR and marketing campaigns and manage client relationships and staff within the trade and business division. You will refine various company systems and working processes to ensure a consistently high level of client work and will help  shape client acquisition strategy.

The role might be part time (three or four days a week) or full time: above all, we’re looking for the right person, and will discuss this at interview. Please indicate on your application whether you are seeking a part time or full time role.

This position offers £32-34k per annum pro rata dependent on experience, with the opportunity for performance-related bonuses. More may be available for a candidate with substantial and relevant experience and achievements.

Skills and experience required:
  • You will have a substantial experience (likely to be several years) in music industry PR, ideally as relates to tech and digital content,
  • exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write fluent and cogent opinion pieces about a wide variety of issues affecting the digital content sector,
  • strong journalist contacts across the global music and tech media.

Extra information required:
We’d like to know a little more about your background to make sure that you are a good match for the role. Please add detail to your covering letter about:

  1. Your music and digital content PR experience (take care to highlight your level of responsibility). You should also give an example of work done as part of a PR campaign, including any links to results.
  2. A brief outline of two personal achievements relevant to the role.
  3. The earliest date that you could start, or notice period you would require if the role was offered.

We would appreciate it if you could address each of these separately, numbering your responses so that this extra information is distinct and easy to find.

To apply:
Please email recruitment [at] namepr.co.uk with a covering statement and CV. In the subject line of your application email, indicate that you are applying for the Senior Account Manager role.

This position will be advertised until the role is filled. If you would like to apply, please send your application promptly.

Due to the anticipated number of applicants, unfortunately we will only be able to respond to candidates that we wish to interview.

Please note that we will likely only consider applications that include the required information as outlined:
  • correct email subject line,
  • covering letter addressing skills and experiences required,
  • CV,
  • indication of interest in a part time or full time role,
  • numbered extra information,
  • availability for interview dates.

It would be really helpful if you could let us know where you first came into contact with this job advert.
