DISTRIBUTION: As a digital distributor, we offer each of our labels a completely personalized service, taking in technical and digital marketing services.

TECH: The services and technical tools have been developed to best meet the needs of all types of producers, rights holders and content distributors.

DIGI MARKETING: our expertise in this field, coupled with our catalogue and partner network allow us to offer marketing services that are continually being updated to reflect the fast changing digital landscape.


Among others, we work with Record Makers, InFiné, Kitsuné, Bromance, Numbers, Tricatel, Colette, Dreyfus Jazz No Format, Glitterbeat, Radio France and so on.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Open and structure the UK Office: find the right location, organize logistics.


  • Develop revenues from UK-based labels: seek out and sign new UK-based labels to worldwide digital distribution agreements and offer them IDOL’s range of technical and digital marketing services.


  • Once signed, develop and manage relationships alongside the Paris-based trade marketing team and account management team


  • The candidate can also be responsible for developing digital services (including technical services) developed by IDOL for the labels/distributors who have direct contracts with monetized digital platforms.


  • The candidate will work closely with the Paris-based Head Of International.


Key Qualities:


  • 5-10 years experience in sales and distribution and/or key account management in the music industry, and at least 3 years in a digital music business environment (distribution, retail, label manager, digital sales services etc)
  • Music marketing / sales experience
  • Perfect knowledge of the UK music market and especially independent market
  • Experience working and excellent network with UK independent labels and management companies
  • Experience developing partnership opportunities.

Education: Degree-level qualification in Business or Commerce.

Location: London


Salary: DOE, possible target linked bonus scheme
