October 26, 2016:Spinlist SongShare sends music through iMessage

There’s no break in the flow of apps exploring how music can be shared through messaging, with Spinlist Song Share the latest.

It’s the work of US startup Spinlist, which already has a separate app available for people to create playlists using songs from Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and YouTube. Its new app focuses on Apple’s iMessage service.

“Spinlist SongShare allows you to search and share playable songs from within iMessage,” explains its App Store listing. “Powered by streaming services like Spotify, YouTube and Soundcloud and indexed and matched by Spinlist.fm.”

It claims to be working on integrations for Amazon Music, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer and other services. Spinlist is the startup founded by Lucas Allen Buick, who also came up with photography app Hipstamatic.
