January 10, 2017:Pandora rolling out new mobile display ads

At the start of 2017, the buzz around music-streaming is very much focused on the strong growth in subscriptions. Still, companies like Pandora and Spotify are continuing their efforts to launch inventive new advertising formats, especially within their mobile apps.

Pandora’s latest move is the rollout of its two new display ad units: Muted Video and Responsive Mobile Display. They’ve been running as tests since June 2016 with partners like Google, Denny’s and Express, but on 19 January will roll out to all advertisers.
