Secondary ticketing firms sign on for Madonna tour

Madonna’s upcoming Sticky & Sweet tour will stop in at stadia and arenas around the world, but for once, many tickets sold through the secondary market will be generating even more revenues for the star. Promoter Live Nation is signing up official secondary resellers in each country, including eBay subsidiary StubHub in the US and Viagogo in Europe. However, the move may cause unrest among fans, who would rather see artists stamping out such reselling rather than getting into bed with the companies behind it. Is this just paving the way to mark up already expensive tickets?
