Magnetic Audio Device could blast tunes at festival crowds

There’s been a fair amount in the press recently about music being used as a weapon or even as part of torture routines - which sounds like a joke, but isn’t if you’re an alleged terrorist cooped up in a cell with Slayer blasted at you regularly. Anyway, Listening Post has an article on a Magnetic Audio Device, designed as a non-lethal weapon to disperse crowds or confuse enemy soldiers. However, there are apparently more consumer-friendly uses too, at festivals for example, to ensure that people standing at the top of Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage field can actually hear what’s on stage. Apparently, you can even hear the cymbals in a Frank Sinatra song while standing a mile away.
