Epic Records tapping video-sharing site for directors
Want a hotshot director for your artist’s new video? Why pay loads for one, when you can find a grateful Web 2.0 user who’ll do it on the cheap (while soliciting ideas from hundreds more that might come in handy for other acts). Okay, that’s a bit cynical - we’re sure Epic Records has no intentions of such underhand behaviour with its new music video competition on video site Massify. They’re looking for someone to create a new video for band Low vs. Diamond, by submitting short video treatments and storyboards. The winner will `collaborate’ with RSA Films on the actual video - with casting auditions happening on the same site.
