Buzzd mobile city guide signs AEG deal
Location-based mobile city guide Buzzd has announced a deal with live promoter AEG Live, which will include data on the latter’s gigs and events in its database.
The idea behind the app is that users can find out “what’s going on around me right now?”, and are served up event and venue info based on their current location, as well as reviews and ratings from other members of the Buzzd community.
The service has more than 1.7 million listings, and existing deals with Citysearch, Time Out New York and Flavorpill. Alongside the AEG deal, Buzzd has also announced similar agreements with Yahoo’s Upcoming and Zagat Survey.
