Will.I.Am bigs up BlackBerry Band To Hand app

Imagine our surprise when, while wandering around the mobile content hall at Mobile World Congress yesterday morning, we saw Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am strolling around the stands too.

He was at the show to talk about his Band To Hand application, which is coming out for BlackBerry handsets. It’ll let him record and distribute new tracks to his fanbase. “Lil’ Wayne can sell one million albums in a week, but I can distribute content to two million people in two seconds,” he said at MWC.

Is he making as much money as Lil’ Wayne from it though? “The income has not enhanced yet, but that doesn’t mean you don’t stop dreaming…”
