Chamillionaire launches Vidly Express video comments
Chamillionaire was recently in the news for getting his wrists slapped by label UMG, after uploading a video to YouTube and – gasp – letting fans embed it elsewhere.
Now he’s doing something that should meet with his label’s approval: trying out a new service called Vidly Express that lets visitors to his site leave video comments and responses. It ties in with the existing Disqus comment platform, which is used on a number of sites. People leaving video comments can also share them on Twitter, with Facebook support to come.
A simple tool, but one that could add stickiness to artist sites.
