The second in a series of events from the new apps business information service The Appside considers the world of book publishing apps. This event features a quickfire showcase of some of the hottest publishing apps (many of which are yet to be released) and will consider overall trends and statistics in publishing apps, the thorny question of how to market your app in such a crowded marketplace and hear from publishers discussing the economics and the challenges in building and monetising apps. The Association of Independent Music (AIM) and Consolidated independent will deliver the tenth edition of Music Connected, which will focus on the following:

Web-based Training (April – May 2012)
The training will take place at 4.00pm BST on the days below (except the first session which will be 3.30pm). For those of you that are based internationally, please note that this is British Summer Time and work out your country time accordingly and diarise please to work out the time difference.
This is web-based training and will be delivered via the internet using a platform called Instant Presenter, no need to download anything. We will email attendees the link before each module and you just type in your name and email and your in! You will see our presenter and slides/demos etc, and can interact via the chat function and questions submit box.
The training will be delivered by our digital guru Toby Lewis (with support from Rob MacAllister on the interactive chat). It is a straight forward system and you will see when you login how simple it is : )
