Deadmau5 and Plastikman’s Pixelynx plans a music NFTs game

Pixelynx is the ‘direct-to-avatar’ startup launched earlier this year by electronic musicians Joel ‘Deadmau5’ Zimmerman and Richie ‘Plastikman’ Hawtin, among other co-founders.

It was focused on helping artists and other public figures “digitise their brands into collectible goods for use in gaming and virtual worlds”. Now we know more about its plans to create one of those worlds of its own.

Pixelynx is working with Pokémon Go creator Niantic’s recently-unveiled Lightship platform to build a mobile game based around music, augmented reality and NFTs.
