The 65+ age group of UK internet users spends 42 hours a week online, more than any other age group. Women aged between 25 and 34 spend more time online than their male counterparts. The average UK adult now spends 50 hours per week on the phone, using the internet, watching TV or listening to the radio. Average daily internet use increased by 158% between 2002 and 2006, while time spent on mobile phones grew by 58% during the same period.
