Number of subscribers to Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) services increased by 179% in the 12 months to 30 June 2007 reaching 8m worldwide. Europe added over 3m IPTV subscribers in the 12 months to the end of June 2007 for a total of almost 5m, up 231% from a year earlier. Top IPTV markets worldwide include France with 2.55m and Hong Kong with 938,000 subscribers in June 2007.
