Approximately 79% of US adults, or about 178m, now go online. The survey, which polled 2062 adults in July and October 2007, finds that US adults spend an average 11 hours a week on the internet. According to the survey, 72% of US adults are spending more time online at home and 37% at work, up 2% each from 2006, with 31% of those surveyed going online elsewhere, up from 22% in 2006.
