Revenues from mobile data services in the US reached $6.4bn in the third quarter of 2007, up 9.4% from the previous quarter. For the first nine months of 2007, mobile data revenues reached $17.7bn, a 59% increase from the same period a year earlier. The majority of data revenues came from non-messaging applications such as mobile music and video services.
