Over 30% of Britons are downloading or streaming film and TV content every month, while even more people are watching a range of free web-based user-generated content (UGC) and streaming music and podcasts. UK consumers are not very willing to pay for audio-visual content. Around three times as many people are consuming free compared with paid content and also those not yet consuming are around three times more interested in free content.
