98m digital albums were sold in Canada in 2007. This represents 4.5% of the 44.4m total albums sold. The report also finds that Canadian album sales declined by 9.5% from 2006 to 2007. Digital downloads, subscription services and mobile music comprised only 12% of total music sales in Canada in 2007, while in the US these channels comprised 29% of sales during the same period.
