Sales of DAB radios reached 6.45m at the end of 2007, up from 4.4m in 2006. Over 550,000 DAB radios were sold in December 2007 alone, up 22% from a year ago. DRDB forecasts that sales of DAB radios will reach 2.6m in 2008, and that will bring UK household penetration to 30%.
