Facebook is coming under fire from musicians, after several saw their driving licences accidentally posted on their artist pages on the social network. They have to upload photographic ID as part of the registration process to upload their own music to the site, but some have been surprised to see the scans then appear on their artist pages. “A code change accidentally caused a limited number of private ID card photos to be surfaced on live Facebook pages,” says a Facebook spokesperson. “Facebook regrets that this happened, and has removed all exposed images of ID cards from the site.”
